Adam Scott is one of the golfers participating in the 2023 Sentry TOC. Although he has no title in 2022, Scott still qualified to compete in the opening tournament of the calendar year 2023 of the PGA Tour. That's thanks to a rule change that allows those who have won the Tour Championship in previous seasons to qualify for Sentry.
Prior to Sentry TOC 2023 Scott's total PGA Tour career earnings were $59,873,599. Finishing in 29th place brought the 42-year-old golfer $210,000, bringing his total revenue to over $60 million.
Scott is still around $8 million behind Rory McIlroy, who is in sixth place. McIlroy did not compete at the 2023 Sentry TOC. PGA Tour members were allowed to opt out of one of the 13 advanced events, and Sentry was the event the defending FedEx Cup champion omitted. McIlroy's only appearance in Sentry was in 2019 and came in at 4th place.
