LPGA Tour 2023 qualifying bonus fund sets new peak

The 2023 season will continue to witness another record of the Epson Tour - the official qualifying tournament of the LPGA - when golfers will compete for a huge prize fund of up to $ 4.915 million.

According to a statement on Thursday, the Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic and the French Lick Charity Classic will have the largest prize pool in Epson Tour history at $335,000. This is more than double the peak bonus a decade ago.

Longstanding events on the Epson Tour's schedule include: Twin Bridges Championship (39 years), Florida's Natural Charity Classic (14 years), Island Resort Championship (12 years), Four Winds Invitational (12 years) and IOA Championship ( 11 years).

This year, the IOA Golf Classic and FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship will celebrate 10 years of the Epson Tour 2023 schedule.

The average prize pool of Epson Tour events this season will be $223,000, up from $210,000 in 2022. The top 10 Epson Tour golfers will have a chance to go to the LPGA, top professional women's golf arena.

Epson Tour, formerly known as LPGA Futures Tour, then renamed Duramed Futures Tour from 2006 - 2010 according to sponsor, from 2012 - 2021 the tour is known as Symetra Tour. This is the official qualifying golf tournament of the LPGA Tour.

The Epson Tour has had a tumultuous year.
