Collin Morikawa monopolizes the top of Sentry TOC 2023 after 54 holes

The 25-year-old American golfer is the only golfer to have a bogey-free record through 54 holes of the Sentry TOC event on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Kapalua.

In the 3 consecutive days of the Sentry Tournament of Champions (Sentry TOC) Collin Morikawa has kept his great form when consecutively monopolizing the top of the leaderboard.

At the end of the third day (January 7), the 11th-ranked golfer in the world continued to have a third round of bogey-free matches in a row, scoring 6 birdies and an eagle. He finished the third round with a score of 65 -8. Morikawa's total score after 3 rounds is 195 -24 strokes to help him maintain the top position, 6 strokes behind Scottie Scheffler -  J.J. Spaun - Matt Fitzpatrick is sharing 2nd place.

Collin Morikawa currently leads the Sentry TOC

Morikawa is the only golfer on the island of Maui to have a bogey-free record through 54 holes. He is considered to have amazingly sharp putts. Morikawa's seven-foot putts were so precise that he kept control of the tournament at all times.

Morikawa, who is looking for his first Tour win since the British Open 2021, doesn't seem to be reassured yet. He once took a 5-stroke lead at the Hero World Challenge 2021, which will lift him to world No. 1. But then lost the title to Viktor Hovland.

Although there are no PGA Tour championships in 2022, Morikawa can still participate in this tournament due to the new rules of the tournament to be in the Top 30 at the previous season's FedExCup.

Let's wait and see if Collin Morikawa can regain his glory at Sentry TOC 2023 - the lucky tournament of many PGA Tour golfers.
