Vietnam and Singapore Junior Teams Ready for Showdown at Long Bien Golf Course
Following practice sessions and course familiarization, the young golfers from both nations are ready to embark on a competition that is expected to mark a new chapter in junior golf cooperation and development between Vietnam and Singapore.
Over three days of competition, from June 3 to 5, the two teams will compete in 24 Match Play contests to determine the champion of the tournament’s inaugural edition. Each match will contribute directly to the overall team score, creating an exciting and highly competitive atmosphere throughout the event.

However, the Viet-Sing Junior Alliance Cup is about more than just results. The tournament has been established to provide an international platform for young talents to connect, learn from one another, gain valuable competitive experience, and build lasting friendships through their shared passion for golf.
As the tournament’s first edition, the 2026 Viet-Sing Junior Alliance Cup represents an important milestone in the junior golf development strategies of both countries. Moving forward, the event is planned to be held annually, with Vietnam and Singapore alternating hosting duties, as it aims to become one of the region’s premier junior team competitions.
One of the tournament’s highlights is the participation of the top junior golfers from both nations across the U13, U16, and U19 boys’ and girls’ divisions. These promising young players are widely regarded as the future of golf in Vietnam and Singapore.
Beyond the competition itself, the Viet-Sing Junior Alliance Cup also carries significant educational value. Through international competition and cultural exchange, participants have the opportunity to strengthen the core values of golf, including integrity, discipline, responsibility, respect for opponents, and resilience under pressure.
Notably, the event will also feature the Vietnam-Singapore School Golf Forum. The forum will bring together administrators, experts, and representatives from both countries to discuss initiatives aimed at developing golf within educational environments, helping to build a sustainable foundation for future generations of golfers.
With all preparations now complete, the stage is set at Long Bien Golf Course. Over the coming days, the Viet-Sing Junior Alliance Cup 2026 promises exciting competition while marking a memorable milestone in the continued growth of junior golf in both Vietnam and Singapore.
