Long Bien Golf Course Embraces Precision Turf Management Technology
The session was hosted by Mr. Giang, the course superintendent who has overseen turf operations at Long Bien for the past 11 years, alongside the club’s leadership team and representatives from Vietnamese golf media outlets including Vietnam Golf & Leisure, Golf News, Golf Edit and Daily Sports.

As part of the demonstration, the Turflogic team conducted a live drone flight across the course to capture field data and imagery before introducing the platform’s turf management ecosystem. The presentation included demonstrations of Turfscore health indexing, Turfstory historical tracking, topographic and irrigation mapping, as well as stress map generation designed to monitor turf performance and course conditions.
The team also unveiled several of the platform’s latest capabilities, including integration with John Deere systems that allow product prescriptions to be transmitted directly to GPS sprayers, shapefile generation for area monitoring, and live METOS sensor integration for real-time environmental tracking.
As golf course operations continue to evolve globally, integrating field data, imaging technology and maintenance equipment into a unified workflow is becoming increasingly important. These technologies are designed to help superintendents maintain more consistent playing conditions, optimize resource usage and elevate the overall golfer experience to international standards.
Following the initial capture phase, Turflogic will now process the collected data to build a digital twin of Long Bien Golf Course. The company will then return to review the full results with the superintendent and leadership team, representing another important milestone in bringing precision turf management technology to one of Hanoi’s premier golf destinations.
