Featuring enchanting shades of blue and pink, ÉCLAT brings to life a chrysanthemum garden hidden within a world of moonlight, where two lunar rabbits follow a glimmering trail to discover a luminous moon nestled among the blooms and gather to celebrate the joy of reunion under its golden radiance. This poetic narrative is vividly depicted through the collection's exquisite design, capturing the festive spirit in every mooncake box.

Where gift packaging becomes art

This year’s ÉCLAT mooncake collection features 5 box designs intricately crafted with 3D-embossed printing technology and accented with gold-plated metal clasps and refined gold-foil detailing. The charming scene of lunar rabbits gathering in the chrysanthemum garden beneath the moonlight is brought to life, transforming each box into a collectible work of art.

A refined harmony between tradition and modernity

Months of meticulous experimentation allowed Executive Chef Li Jian Chuan and our pastry team to perfect four reduced-sugar flavours that honour authentic Hong Kong traditions while responding to the evolving preferences of today's discerning consumers.

From the timeless elegance of White Lotus Seed, Hanoi Hotel's signature flavour for over 30 years to the nostalgic charm of Red Bean with Dried Tangerine Peel, each mooncake tells its own story. Black Sesame delights with its rich roasted notes and naturally nutty character, while Mixed Nuts honours tradition through a refined blend of premium nuts and savoury ham, celebrating a beloved Mid-Autumn classic.

Craftsmanship extends beyond the filling to the delicate pastry crust.

According to Executive Chef Li Jian Chuan, an authentic Hong Kong-style mooncake must possess a golden and smooth crust that is thin enough to fully enhance the flavour of the filling: “The crust does more than simply encase the filling. It plays a vital role in balancing the delicate sweetness of the filling with the rich savouriness of the salted egg yolk—one of the defining characteristics of Hanoi Hotel's signature mooncakes.” Each mooncake is handcrafted in three sizes: Large, Medium, and Small, catering to diverse needs for both enjoyment and gifting.
