4,000 Korean golfers to visit Vinh Phuc in the last 2 months 06:30, 01/01/2023

The above information was exchanged by Mr. Bui Hong Do, Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with VietNamNet on the sidelines of the 2022 Vinh Phuc Tourism Destination Promotion Conference, taking place on the afternoon of December 29.

Mr. Bui said, from November 2022 to March 2023, about 4,000 Korean golfers will come to Vinh Phuc to travel and experience the tour. In which, only in the last 2 months of the year, more than 1,000 Korean golfers have come to Vinh Phuc to travel golf, play and experience 4 golf courses in the province.

Golf tour is one of the new development directions being developed by Vinh Phuc. With many development advantages, Vinh Phuc is currently planning 14 golf courses, of which, 4 golf courses have been put into operation.

“Currently, big enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City, 4 major golf associations signed cooperation agreements with golf courses in the province to organize tours. From there, we expect the number of visitors to the locality to reach 10 million people in 2023, of which, tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces will come more," said Mr. Do.

Besides, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Vu Viet Van said that in 2022, Tam Dao Town will receive the award "World's Leading Destination Town"; Vinh Phuc golf course system is also in the top 5 most popular golf courses of the year.

Tourist arrivals to Vinh Phuc increased rapidly, in the period of 2015-2019, the average number of visitors increased by 15%/year; Tourist arrivals will reach over 8.2 million in 2022, the revenue from tourism will reach over VND 3,200 billion.
