Vinh Phuc province invests in 10 more international standard golf courses 07:02, 13/01/2023

At the "Conference to exchange and connect businesses between Vietnam and Japan" on January 8, 2023, Mr. Vu Viet Van, Standing Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee shared about the upcoming development orientation of the province. He said Vinh Phuc is promoting the search for opportunities for tourism cooperation, connecting and bringing foreign tourists to the locality according to the model of tourism - experience - discovery, golf tourism, etc. 

According to the leader of Vinh Phuc province, the golf sport tourism field is being considered as a new type of tourism strength of Vinh Phuc with 4 golf courses operating effectively, attracting many tourists to experience tourism services such as Heron Lake, Tam Dao, Thanh Lanh and Dai Lai golf courses.

In the months of 11-12/2022 alone, more than 1,000 Korean golfers have come to Vinh Phuc for golf tourism and experience. In the first 3 months of 2023, the province will continue to welcome 3,000 Korean golfers to play on every Saturday and Sunday.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province, with the promotion of cooperation agreements with southern business associations and foreign businesses such as Korea, Japan, etc., Vinh Phuc is expected to welcome about 10 million people come to experience golf sports tour.

"Therefore, in the period of 2021-2030, Vinh Phuc plans to invest in 10 more golf courses and golf courses to turn tourism into a spearhead economic sector", Mr. Van emphasized.

Accordingly, in the development plan for the 2021-2030 period, Vinh Phuc advocates building golf courses that can host international golf tournaments such as Ban Long golf course (201.4 ha 36 holes) and Dong golf course. Enter (209.7 ha 36 holes), Dong Mo golf course (118.4 ha 18 holes), Ben Bath golf course (105.9 ha 18 holes), Lap Dinh golf course (69 ha 18 holes), lake golf course Gia Khau - Tan Son (165 ha 36 holes), Dong Tran - Dai Lai golf course (299 ha 54 holes), Van Truc golf course (125.6 ha 36 holes), Bo Lac golf course (134.6 ha 36 holes) and Vinh Thinh golf course (15 ha 18 holes).

Mr. Vu Viet Van said Vinh Phuc is interested in investing in building a golf course system of international standards, because this is the most direct, effective and fastest approach to foreign investors.
