KN Golf Links Cam Ranh to host a tournament of Asian Tour 2023

This is the first time after 7 years that the first-class golf arena in Asia has returned to Vietnam with the International Series Vietnam event.

On December 16, the Asian Tour announced the schedule for the year from 2023 to May with many changes that promise to be the most impressive opening period for a season since the system was born. in 1995.

According to the official announcement, the 2023 to May season currently includes 11 events, starting with Saudi International in Saudi Arabia, from February 2 to 5 with a bonus fund of up to 5 million USD. Then came a series of "old" and "rookie" events, including all four stages of the International Series. Four stages of the International Series will be held in Oman 9-12/2, Qatar 16-19/2, Thailand 9-12/3 and Vietnam April 13-16.

Asian Tour schedule 2023 to May

This is the first time after 7 years of seeing the return of the Asian Tour in Vietnam. The golf course hosting the International Series Vietnam event is KN Golf Links, Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa. Currently, the list of participants in the International Series Vietnam has 144 golfers competing for a total prize fund of 2 million USD.

Ho Tram Open 2015 at The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is the closest Asian Tour to Vietnam. At that time, Sergio Garcia went to the podium thanks to a fourth-hand play-off victory, while Tran Le Duy Nhat was the only domestic representative to pass the elimination and ranked 60th overall. Similar to KN Golf Links, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is also designed by the legendary Greg Norman.

“The end of the 2022 season is great, we are honored to announce the start of the 2023 season at full speed,” said Cho Minn Thant, CEO and special envoy of the Asian Tour.

Asian Tour 2022 holds 20 events, ending with BNI Indonesian Masters on December 4 with the victory of Thailand's Sarit Suwannarut.
