Our Experience

When arriving in Long Bien, visitors will be impressed by the large and magnificent clubhouse with the entrance like a luxurious 5-star hotel decorated by large chandeliers.

Designed by the renowned company Nelson & Haworth, it is a very well maintained public golf course. The fairways are arranged to run parallel to the OB area around the course belt. Lakes and cool palm trees are the hallmarks of most golf holes.

Overall, the golf course is quite short, so the designer added deep bunkers, water obstacles and an OB area to create attraction and challenge for players. Usually, bunkers are located about 200m from the tee to "catch" stubborn tees.

The green of the yard is in very good condition and quite fast. There are many areas for the ball to fall safely and allow players to make a few minor mistakes when hitting the green. Most greens give players a chance to hit par, especially those who are good short-game players.

There are some interesting holes on the course such as the 3rd and the par 4. For those who try to hit a club and miss, this will turn out to be an unpleasant hole.

Hole 6 is one of the iconic holes of the course, a downhill par 3 that requires you to hit the ball across the lake to the green. As for golfers approaching the green from the wrong position, it will be easy to end the hole with 3 putts.

The end of the first 9 holes is a short par 5 and this is the hole with the most birdie chances at Long Bien – it just requires the player to have an approach shot from a good position.

On the back-nine, hole 14 is an attractive par 3, but it is also quite difficult to hit if the wind is blowing on the court. With the water hole on the left and the safe zone on the right, it's easy to get bogey if the shot doesn't make it to the green.

The closing hole on the course is a rather unpleasant par 5 hole with bunkers on all three shots to the green. You'll be rewarded for hitting correctly and having the correct approach is important, especially with a shot that has to deftly make its way through the water hazard to the green.

Long Bien is a public golf course with reasonable price including green fee, caddy fee and electric car. The arrangement of electric lights in the evening also helps to make your afternoon rounds of golf become more enjoyable without having to worry about sunset. The goal of the course is to provide a 24-hour golfing experience.
