Leaving Royal Golf Course, the panel made its way deeper into Ninh Binh's lush countryside. The dramatic limestone formations gradually gave way to ancient forests, mirror-like lakes and crisp, fresh air that embraced every fairway, creating an atmosphere markedly different from the previous stop.

The first impression was one of harmony between the golf course and its natural surroundings. A gently winding uphill road leading to the opening holes revealed a peaceful panorama. The rustling of leaves, sunlight filtering through the forest canopy and the quiet ambience allowed golfers to immerse themselves in nature even before striking their opening tee shot.

Fairways flow naturally with the terrain, weaving between mature trees, lakes and gently undulating hillsides. Expansive green vistas and the refreshing mountain air combine to create a relaxing round where the landscape becomes an integral part of the golfing experience.

One of the panel's longest stops came at the signature par-3 16th hole. From the elevated tee, the entire hole unfolds dramatically, with a lake guarding the front of the green, bright white bunkers framing the target and a backdrop of dense forest beyond. The balance between visual appeal and strategic design makes this hole one of the standout highlights of the course.

Ms. Vu Van Yen shared her thoughts: "I was completely captivated by the beauty of this hole. And now I understand why my old friend, Robert Bicknell, once said he could spend a lifetime simply admiring it."

According to Sang Jun Oh, a member of the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards judging panel, Trang An Golf & Resort distinguishes itself through the seamless integration of golf and nature.
