Ranking of Vietnamese golfers on the WAGR at the end of 2022

Nguyen Anh Minh, currently ranked 300th, continues to be the domestic representative to reach the highest rank in the WAGR at the end of the 2022 administrative year.

There are ten Vietnamese golfers currently have an position on WAGR, with five newcomers appearing this year thanks to outstanding performance this year at R&A-recognized and scoring tournaments. These are Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung, Do Quang Khanh, Nguyen Quang Tri and Le Chuc An.

In which, Anh Minh achieved the best promotion performance, with the peak of the rank being 115 while in January, when he was first named 4676. The young golfer born in 2007 gradually improved his position with high performance such as winning the first two tournaments of the professional arena VGA Tour, the sixth individual content SEA Games 31, winning the National Youth Cup (VJO)…  Before Anh Minh, no Vietnamese player, both male and female, has entered the top 200 WAGR.

In the women's branch, Hanako Kawasaki ranked highest, 876th. However, the Vietnamese-Japanese golfer has not competed to accumulate points since May, after graduating from Boston University.

Nguyen Anh Minh and Le Khanh Hung are the top 2 golfers among Vietnamese male golfers on the world amateur rankings.
