[VIETNAM GOLF COURSE INSPECTION] The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram - An unparalleled and quintessential journey
Situated along the sunny and breezy southern coastline, The Bluffs Ho Tram Golf Course is enveloped by natural dunes and mountains adorned with untouched forests, rendering it a perfect venue for classic coastal golf. Greg Norman proudly regards this course as one of the two finest he has ever designed, alongside the renowned Doonbeg Golf Course in Ireland.
Undoubtedly, the breathtaking vistas that unfold before us elucidate the numerous accolades that the "White Shark" has bestowed upon The Bluffs. Regardless of whether you are a frequent golfer or visiting for the first time, The Bluffs consistently offers delightful surprises.
Situated 50 meters above sea level, The Bluffs Ho Tram features an 18-hole par-71 golf course that is intricately designed to complement the natural contours of the undulating sand dunes adjacent to the coastline. Each hole offers a stunning vista and a unique layout, ensuring that players remain engaged throughout their rounds. Notably, Hole #15 stands out as one of the most breathtaking and demanding holes, leaving a lasting impression on us who appreciated the panoramic 360-degree views of the golf course, the surrounding woodlands, native flora, and the expansive beach.
The Bluffs represents an exceptional venue for golfers seeking to push their boundaries. While the course presents challenges due to its length and various obstacles, it rewards players with stunning vistas from every location on the course. Each hole offers a blend of difficulty and enjoyment. Additionally, the elevated and undulating landscape introduces wind as a significant challenge for golfers. Nevertheless, this very aspect serves as a magnet for visitors, with many international golfers choosing to visit during the windy season to test their skills against the unique characteristics of this location.
A particularly appealing aspect was the consistent maintenance of the greens at a speed of 9.5, which ensured that the putts were both smooth and invigorating. The course's open spaces were effectively utilized and seamlessly integrated, allowing the golf holes to be interspersed with natural woodlands and gentle hazards. As a result, we experienced a sense of harmony with nature, leading to a state of relaxation.
Beyond the stunning vistas and the impeccable design of each hole, the friendly attitude and skill of the caddies significantly elevated our golfing adventure.
Completing 18 holes of golf offered a delightful chance to unwind with a chilled beer on the Clubhouse terrace, where one can observe the entire golf course illuminated by the warm glow of the sunset while savoring the soothing sea breeze.
