Hoiana Shores Golf Club is a prestigious golf course considered a "Golf Symphony" on the pristine coastline south of Hoi An and Da Nang, ranked on the list of Top 100 golf courses in the world and has received many  prestigious awards from Golf Digest, World Golf Awards as well as "Best Golf Course in Vietnam" by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2022.

As soon as the inspection team arrived at the course, their first feeling towards Hoiana Shores Golf Club was like returning to the homeland of golf - a typical links course characterized by sand and sea breeze. Just looking at the golf courses from the entrance gate brings a fluttering feeling that makes everyone want to conquer it immediately.

Constructed by the Hong Kong-based Linksshape company and designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the course at Hoiana Shores Golf Club lies within an enormous 2,500-acre site to the south of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as The City of Lanterns. That's why pins on each golf hole of the course were replaced with lanterns instead. This is a unique and sophisticated feature of the golf course in the heart of Hoi An heritage. The inspection board members expressed their interest in the unique names of each golf hole here such as Lantern, Clocktower, Fishing Village, Swallow's Nest...

Set out as two returning nines on a coastal property comprised entirely of pure sand, the course is grassed with TifEagle Bermuda greens, while tees and fairways feature Zeon Zoysia. The course is well maintained and is one of the few courses with a green speed of over 9, making the putts very smooth and enjoyable. Because they can ride into the course, even in the harsh heat of summer, players do not feel overwhelmed and quickly complete the golf round.

The natural landscape of Hoiana Shores Golf Club is breathtakingly beautiful with sand dunes and coastline as the main highlight, along with several consecutive holes with views of the ocean and Cham island for wild and peaceful beauty. 

The fairways of the course are spacious and undulating, bordered on both sides by bunkers and roughs, so a correct shot will make the golf round extremely quality, otherwise it will make you extremely regretful. The round at Hoiana Shores reaches a climax on the back nine with the greens on holes 15, 16 and 17 all located close to the shoreline, where the wind comes right off the sea.

"Today we ventured to Hoianna Shores Golf Club designed by the great Robert (Bobby) Jones and is set against a spectacular coastline. This is Mr Jones first course in Vietnam. This is a true links golf course and is challenging but in a good way. If the wind picks up it becomes a little more difficult but still a rewarding experience. The course uses the natural landscape with the sand dunes and coastline as the main feature with Calm Island also a backdrop on a few holes. The fairways are generous and undulating so an errant shot most times won't be penalised to badly, The greens were running at just over 9 and were very true. The colonial style locker rooms allow you to freshen up after your before your enjoy a drink or lovely meal The clubhouse is an impressive 6000 square metre and has everything you need because 1 night here is definitely not enough. This must be on your golfing list."

In addition to interesting experiences on the field, Hoiana Shores' clubhouse also left an unforgettable impression for the inspection team. If the men's locker room has a colonial architectural style, the women's locker room is decorated with elegant and artistic furniture. In particular, standing from the clubhouse, you can admire most of the golf holes as well as the entire view of the course towards the sea, especially when dawn or dusk falls.
