As part of the Thailand Junior Development Tour system, Asian Junior Masters 2023 brings together golfers from 7 to 23 years old, from many countries such as Thailand, Australia, India, Philippines, Singapore, Korea, South Africa, etc. held at Blue Canyon Country Club, Phuket, Thailand from January 3 to 5.

Vietnam has 9 golfers participating including: Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung, Pham Dang Long (B Boy), Tran Viet An, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Ngo Thanh Son, Nguyen Trong Hoang (C Boy), Nguyen Bao Phat and Nguyen Hoang Minh (D Boy).

After 2 rounds, Nguyen Anh Minh is leading B Boy Division with a result of +1 stroke, Le Khanh Hung is in 2nd place with +2 strokes, both have big chances to win the championship trophy. Pham Dang Long is ranked 18th.

In the C Boy Division, the Vietnamese golfer with the highest ranking is Nguyen Tuan Anh (ranked 4), Nguyen Trong Hoang is ranked 7, Nguyen Viet An is ranked 18. An unfortunate injury caused Ngo Thanh Son to have to withdraw from the tournament.

D Boy Division, Nguyen Bao Phat is competing for a place in the top 3 when the difference between his score and 2 Thai golfers in T2 position is 2 strokes. Nguyen Hoang Minh is ranked 14th.

The pitch distance for each group in this tournament is set at 6,700 – 7,200 yards (groups A, B); 5,800 - 6,300 yards (group C), in these three groups golfers will have to walk; Group D will compete at a distance of 5,200 - 5,800 yards and will be able to ride a tram.
