Nguyen Anh Minh climbs up on the World Amateur Golf Ranking  02:15, 09/02/2023

At the end of 2022, Nguyen Anh Minh is the Vietnamese golfer with the highest ranking on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) when he ranks 300th.However, this is not the highest position of the 15-year-old golfer when Anh Minh was ranked 115 in the WAGR after the 2022 Vietnam Junior Open championship.

Starting in 2023, Nguyen Anh Minh got his first title when he won at Thang Long Junior Masters thanks to a record score of -18 at Yen Bai Star Golf & Resort, to rise from 300th position to 272nd in the world. Recently in Thailand, Anh Minh won Group B Boy at the Asian Junior Masters 2023. This victory helped Vietnam's golfer increase 10 places on the WAGR rankings, to 262. Next, Anh Minh will entered the Lexus Challenge to defend the championship won in 2022, his first professional title.

In addition to Nguyen Anh Minh, the positions of Vietnamese golfers in the latest ranking are as follows: Le Khanh Hung (742), Nguyen Dang Minh (1738), Nguyen Quang Tri (3438), Nguyen Nhat Long (3036), Do Quang Khanh (4063), Hanako Kawasaki (880), Doan Xuan Khue Minh (900), Le Chuc An (2519), Le Thi Thanh Thuy (2887).
