Laguna Golf Lang Co renews membership with Asian Tour Destinations 05:01, 01/02/2023

Asian Tour Destinations is an exclusive network of 12 elite golf clubs and has a direct relationship with the Asian Tour. This organization was established to develop the sport of golf and promote the revitalization of golf tourism in the region.

Besides Laguna Golf Lang Co – a golf course with a signature design by Sir Nick Faldo and rated as one of the best golf courses in Vietnam, Asian Tour Destinations also includes other golf clubs in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, India and Singapore.

Other Asian Tour Destinations member clubs currently include: Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore; Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club and Kota Permai Golf & Country Club in Malaysia; Parahyangan Golf in Indonesia; Sapporo Country Club and The North Country Golf Club in Japan; Black Mountain Golf Club, Aquella Golf & Country Club and Laguna Golf Phuket in Thailand; Angkor Golf Resort in Cambodia and Classic Golf & Country Club in India.

According to Mr. Cho Minn Thant - Member and Executive Director of Asian Tour: “The main goal of Asian Tour Destinations is to provide affiliate programs between member golf courses and with the Asian Tour, in order to promote sustainable growth and development of golf in the region as a whole.”

Being a member of the Asian Tour Destinations network means that each of these destinations is certified for its caliber and ability to operate its facilities and service to members and their customers in tournament-ready conditions year-round. The Asian Tour has long supported the Faldo Series Asia Finals held annually by Sir Nick Faldo at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô. Recently, Faldo Series announced that they will continue the tournament at Laguna Lăng Cô for the next four years after a pause due to the pandemic, and they call the resort complex - which is also home to the hotel brands that have been International winners are Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and Angsana Lăng Cô - the "home ground of Faldo Series Asia".

The benefits of participating in the Asian Tour Destinations network are immeasurable. Accordingly, members of the Asian Tour will be able to compete and practice at each member golf course, and at the same time give member golf clubs the opportunity to interact directly with the best golfers in the region.
