Hanoi Golf Association announces the 2023 tournament system 11:02, 09/02/2023

On February 9, at Thanh Lanh golf course, the Hanoi Golf Association held a ceremony to announce the HNGA 2023 golf tournament system, and at the same time kicked off the opening event of this year's tournament system - HNGA Leaders Championship Open 2023.

HNGA Leaders Championship Open 2023 is the second consecutive event that brings together most of the key leaders of the clubs operating in Hanoi and surrounding areas. Besides marking the opening of the new season, this event also has the meaning of connecting and increasing understanding between HNGA and its member clubs as well as between clubs. The tournament will have the presence of 140 golfers, including the Presidents and General Secretary of HNGA's member clubs.

Tournament system in 2023

Through the opening tournament of the new season, HNGA also wants to send a message to all member clubs: Let's launch the Hanoi golf movement together, jointly implement the action plan of Hanoi golf in 2023 and the following years.

Following the HNGA Leaders Championship Open 2023 is the Hanoi Open Golf Championship (Hanoi Open 2023). The event with the longest history of HNGA this year is expected to be attended by nearly 600 golfers, including professional athletes, and has a separate tournament table for young golfers. The tournament is expected to compete at Long Bien golf course (Hanoi) in two days on April 13 & 14.

In addition, HNGA will accompany the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) to organize the Vietnam Junior Golf Championship (Vietnam Junior Tour 2023), which is expected to take place from July 21 to 23.

Closing event for the HNGA 2023 season - Hanoi Open Golf Club Championship (HNGA Club Championship Open 2023). The largest-scale tournament in Vietnam will include a series of Qualifiers and Finals, bringing together a total of more than 1500 golfers.

Along with focusing on organizing annual tournaments, this year the Hanoi Golf Association prioritizes implementing projects to develop youth golf and women's golf in the community through sponsoring and encouraging activities for golfers in member clubs. In addition, with its development strategy, HNGA is trying to promote the inclusion of golf in the pedagogical environment in order to popularize the golf sport closer to the community, especially young people.

The association has also determined a plan to support the development of the club's movement, sponsoring the club's friendly tournaments. Along with that, golf R&A training courses for member clubs will also be held more frequently. This activity helps golfers have a deeper understanding of golf laws & culture, contributing to the wide promotion of this sport.

In order to promote the achievements of 2022, this year HNGA has established specific charity projects, HNGA will accompany the Golf Club in the program 'Hanoi Golf with the Community', jointly carrying out charity work and contributing to society.
