HNGA opens the R&A level 1 training course

On June 25, the Hanoi Golf Association (HNGA) and the Vietnam National Golf Arbitration Council officially opened the R&A Level 1 training course.

The program was held at the Association's office with the participation of representatives of HNGA and the Arbitration Council with 30 students. The entire curriculum of the course is provided by the R&A organization and compiled by the Vietnam National Golf Arbitration Council.

This is the first time HNGA cooperates with the Vietnam National Golf Arbitration Council to organize the program. This event is one of the regular activities of the Association in exchanging and increasing the benefits of member golf clubs and supporting the golf community.

Regarding the participants of the course, the students are mostly members of HNGA's member clubs and come from many different professions and ages: players, coaches, managers, golf course operators, etc.

According to Mr. Nguyen To Ninh, Chairman of HNGA, the program was built with the purpose of exchanging between HNGA and its member clubs, increasing understanding of golf rules and golf culture. “HNGA organizes golf law refresher courses, first for the Presidents and General Secretary of member clubs, helping golfers have a deeper understanding of golf rules and culture, contributing to extensive promotion. This elegant sport is in line with the orientation of building an elegant golf culture of Hanoians," shared Mr. Nguyen To Ninh at the opening ceremony of the Golf Rules training course today.

Under the experienced teaching of two lecturers - R&A level referees: Mr. Bach Cuong Khang and Mr. Vu Nguyen, the students were extremely excited when they were equipped with basic knowledge of the rules and could apply the correct golf rules, firmly grasp the handling of common situations on the course.

After the course, students will be granted a certificate of R&A Level 1. This will be the initial and mandatory step to upgrade to Level 2, the basic course to follow the path to become a Golf Referee.

HNGA is a local golf association taking the lead in popularizing golf rules for its members and members, and will also continue to regularly implement this program in the near future.
