Ho Tram team spreads Tet cheer Bluffs and Grand team up for local villagers ahead of Luna New Year
In addition to this, The Grand’s labor union and its individual team members, raised an additional 130,000,000 VND for villagers in Bung Rieng and Phuoc Thuan areas.
The teams then used this money to purchase 600 Tet hampers including food, drinks, and cash for families in the districts. These hampers were delivered in February, kicking off the Year of the Goat for the families.
“We have come to view ourselves as a part of these communities,” said Ben Styles, General Manager of The Bluffs. “We have over 250 staff at The Bluffs, and another 1300 across the road at The Grand, and the majority of these come from the immediate area.”
“Being able to help these communities celebrate the most important holiday of their year became something of a mission for us,” said The Grand’s President Shaun McCamley. “It was with incredible pride that we handed over these hampers to those in need, knowing that we have just brightened the lives of 600 families and the most special time of year.”
Agreeing with their sentiments was Nguyen Thi Ha - Standing Commissioner of the District People’s Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuyen Moc, who said: “The people of our district are incredibly grateful for the efforts Ho Tram Project Company to continue to work with our community toward the development of our young and our needy. On behalf of the Fatherland Front, I would like to thank everyone at The Ho Tram Project Company, and wish all of the team there our best wishes for the forthcoming year of the goat.”
