Another Vietnamese female golfer is listed on the world amateur rankings

After the end of the Thang Long Junior Master 2023, golfer Le Thi Thanh Thuy officially entered the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR).

Thang Long Junior Master - The opening junior tournament of 2023 has ended with well-deserved victories belonging to golfers with excellent achievements.

Le Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned the champion of the women's group with a record of +15 strokes after 3 rounds. In the final round, the 31st SEA Games national team scored 1 eagle, 2 birdies, and 4 bogeys. With this result, Thanh Thuy will be listed on the WAGR world ranking next week. This is the first highlight of Vietnamese golf in 2023.

In the men's group, golfer Nguyen Anh Minh closed the tournament with a total score of -18, more than 3 strokes compared to the record of -15 strokes he set at the Vietnam Junior Open 2022. With this result, Anh Minh won the championship of Thang Long Junior Master 2023.

The first prize of the U21 Men's group went to Nguyen Dang Minh with a result of -5 and the second prize was Doan Uy with +4 strokes and the third prize was Nguyen Quang Tri with +8 strokes.

In the U15 Men's group, Le Khanh Hung won the first prize, followed by Nguyen Trong Hoang and Do Duong Gia Minh.

First place in U12 group is Nguyen Bao Phat with the result +4, second and third are Pham Nguyen Khuong Di and Vuong Nam A. The three best golfers in U9 group are Le Nhat Binh, Nguyen Gia Vinh and Pham Gia Binh. .

2022 was a successful year for Le Thi Thanh Thuy when she was able to participate in the 31st SEA Games, surpassing in all the tournaments she attended. With a brilliant victory at Thang Long Junior Master 2023, it is hoped that in 2023, the SEA Games national team member will continue to reap many sweet achievement.
