The Vietnam Caddies Championships 2022 was successfully held in both the South and the North with many impressive milestones. The tournament once again clearly shows humanity and the big goals that the organizers are aiming for are honor caddie profession, grateful the dedicated service of caddie to golfers, and search for golf talent to develop professional golf in Vietnam

“We have always wanted to create a playground for caddies - the core force in the Vietnamese golf industry. Currently, the number of caddies across the country has reached thousands of people. In the future, many of you will become Coaches, Golf Course Directors, Golf Executives, and will have a brilliant future.”

The enthusiastic response of caddies across the country

After the success of the Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022 in the South taking place on Tan Son Nhat golf course, the tournament in the North at Trang An Golf & Resort continued to maintain its "hotness" when attracting the participation of nearly 230 caddies from golf courses and golf academies throughout the North region.

Due to the large number of caddies participating, the organizers divided into two official rounds: 76 caddies tee off in the morning creating impressive and attractive competitions; in the afternoon, the atmosphere was even more exciting with the participation of 145 caddies. In addition, there was a surprise HIO at the 15th hole par 3 of Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, the operator of FLC Quang Binh Golf Course. 

In addition to the large number of caddies participating, the Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022 in the North also created brilliant colors when many teams brought to Trang An Golf & Resort very beautiful and unique uniforms.

“As a companion to the tournament for the past 4 years and my starting point is also a caddie, I am very happy and grateful for the enthusiasm of the caddies to participate. There are caddies teams as far away as Quang Binh but did not mind moving to Trang An to attend this tournament.”

Long Bien Golf Course sets a new record

After an exciting day of competition, the tournament ended in the joy and excitement of the attendees. The Gala Dinner takes place in a special space with sparkling lights under pine trees and a romantic lake at Trang An Golf & Resort - a space that most caddies experience for the first time.

With a gross of 79, caddy Nguyen Ta Thuan from Long Bien golf course became the champion of Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022. 

“This is my third time participating in the Vietnam Caddies Championship, and is the first time I won the Best Gross title. I am very happy, proud and surprised with this result. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organizers for creating a meaningful playground for the caddies team, and the management of Long Bien golf course for creating the opportunity for me and my teammates to participate in this meaningful tournament”, Caddie Nguyen Ta Thuan expressed.

Long Bien Golf Course with a team of quality caddies showed outstanding collective strength when it was named in the top position for the 4th time. Long Bien golf caddie team seems to have no opponent when claiming all 4 trophies in 4 times participating in the tournament.

Bringing the tournament with beautiful, impressive and stylish outfits, two golf courses Amber Hills and Tuan Chau shared the award "Best Caddie Uniform".

The organizers also awarded prizes in groups A, B, C, and Women's group to the caddies with the best achievements.

One of the most important factors making the success of the Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022 must include the enthusiastic support of the Vietnam Golf Association and the companionship of tournament sponsors.
