In what circumstances did you meet your “destiny”?

In the summer of 2003, having just graduated from high school, I followed my friends to see recruitment for Chi Linh Golf Course. When I was called in for an interview, I was very nervous and surprised when I was accepted to the caddy position. I think maybe it was "fate" that brought me to golf. From the first days of getting acquainted with golf, I have cherished the desire to hold the club and swing the balls to fly far away! (laugh).

When you came to golf, what difficulties did you face?

In the early days, my biggest difficulty was languages because golf was not popular at that time, most of the guests playing golf were foreigners. Fortunately, I was able to serve many foreign guests at that time, so although it was very stressful, I told myself to work hard and be determined to turn this into a motivation to study harder.

How has golf changed your life and your personality?

Golf gives me many opportunities to learn, cultivate knowledge about profession and life, gain valuable experiences, to meet, to exchange and to cooperate with many customers, colleagues and associates. Golf has trained me to be patient and able to withstand high pressure so that I can calmly handle work in the most effective way.

In your opinion, is golf a difficult sport for women?

I have been playing golf since the very beginning of my career. Golf needs supple health, ingenuity, and precision in each stroke, so I think golf is not too difficult for women. Perhaps the only obstacle when women play golf is the skin would be darken. However, you can completely overcome this by carefully preparing your costumes and accessories.

Before coming to Trang An Golf & Resort, what roles did you take on?

I have 10 years attached to Chi Linh Golf Course, working as a Restaurant Manager, Houseclub Manager of Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong, Culinary Director and Deputy Sales Manager at FLC Biscom before deciding to work for Trang An Golf & Resort from 11/2020.

During my 19 years in golf, I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience in many different positions. For me, each job has its own characteristics and is all worth learning.

What predestined you to stick with Trang An golf course as GM?

This is probably also "destiny" when I was invited to work at Trang An Golf Course. It is the unspoiled beauty of the mountains and forests, the rustic, simple, and hard-working people of Ninh Binh that have become my emotional bond with this place. In addition, the love of golfers for Trang An Golf & Resort is also a motivation for me to confidently choose Trang An Golf Course as my second home.

Not many women take on GM roles at golf courses. Do you feel confident in your ability?

Each person will have their own choices and ability to adapt to each job. Therefore, men or women working as GMs also need to learn and improve their professional knowledge to achieve the highest work efficiency and management skills.

If not golf, how would you choose a job?

I graduated with a major in accounting, so if it weren't for golf, I'd probably get a job that matches my profession. But you know, as "predestined", there can be no better choice than golf.

Being likened to the "Augusta of Vietnam", what will Trang An Golf Course do to promote this beauty?

Trang An golf course is known as an environmentally friendly golf course because the course still retains the wild features of Ninh Binh mountains and forests, a challenge worth experiencing. Through the organization of tournaments, tourism fairs, media channels, Trang An golf course management wants to introduce and promote "Vietnam's August" more to all domestic and foreign customers.

What are your plans in the near future?

Building and putting into operation a golf ecosystem combining entertainment and relaxation at Trang An Golf & Resort. I want to preserve and promote the characteristics of Trang An Golf to bring special experiences and memorable memories to golfers and customers when coming to Ninh Binh.
