Snakes Chills Out in Golf Cup at Course in Sydneys Suburbs

Imagine how you would feel when you were about to putt the ball when you discovered a poisonous snake crawling in the hole? It's horrifying!

Recently, on Instagram of The Coast Life Club, an Australian golf course, shared a video recording a situation where a group of golfers while playing discovered a venomous snake relaxing in the golf hole on the course.

According to the posted video, this is a fire-bellied snake, with the scientific name Pseudechis porphyriacus, also known as the red-bellied black snake, a species of snake native to Australia. The snake is up to 4ft long, equivalent to 1.22m. The venom of this snake can cause a number of diseases in humans, but in fact, no deaths have been recorded due to the bite of this snake.

After being discovered, this snake still calmly relaxed there for a while and then slowly slithered away. Fortunately, this snake is quite gentle, not mad at being bothered. However, golfers should also take precautions in all cases to avoid unfortunate circumstances.
