The Vietnam Match Play Championship 2022 Presented by T99 taking place at West Lakes Golf & Villas, Long An has ended with fierce competitions. The championship trophies have found worthy owners. In the Men’s Division, Le Khanh Hung and Doan Uy had a thrilling and attractive match in the final decisive match.

After many overwhelming rounds and continuously occupying the top spot of the leaderboard to become the best candidate for the championship, in the final round, Doan Uy failed to keep his form and let Le Khanh Hung take the lead, dominate from the first hole and be defeated with a result 2&1. Le Khanh Hung seized the advantage to gain the victory. The 14-year-old golfer officially took home his first National title.

In the 3rd place match, Nguyen Quang Tri had a stable performance and defeated Bui Manh Cuong with a convincing score of 2&1.

In the Ladies Division, despite having a lot of experience in competition and maturity in terms of age, the Vietnam Senior Championship champion, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung, still could not overcome Le Chuc An. The talented young girl fixed a 3&1 victory to take the throne.

Pham Thi Yen Vi finished in 3rd place after beating Anna Le with the result 3&1.

In the Junior’s Division, Nguyen Trong Hoang had an overwhelming victory over Ngo Thanh Son Jr, thereby claiming the championship trophy. The third place belonged to Nguyen Quang Dai.

While in the Senior’s Division, despite being expected to defend the championship, Nguyen Duy Dau missed too many opportunities and let Nguyen Huy Tien completely control the match. The final ended early with an overwhelming victory at hole 15 with a result of 5&3. Meanwhile, Nguyen Huy Minh won 3rd place after defeating Nguyen Quoc Cong with a score of 2&1.
