DNSE Vietnam Open 2022: Joel Troy, Lina Kim took the throne

The final round of DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 was extremely suffocating, dramatic and thrilling with score chases and constantly changing rankings.
Joel Troy claimed the DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 victory

After the first 54 holes, Joel Troy was ranked T-5 with a total score of +5. It seems like there is no chance for Troy to bring home the championship trophy. However, with an impressive performance in the final round with the record of -5 strokes when he got 1 eagle, 6 birdies and only scored 3 bogeys, Joel Troy took the throne at DNSE Vietnam Open 2022.

Nguyen Quang Tri won the 1st runner-up

The 1st runner-up title belonged to Nguyen Quang Tri, an 18-year-old Vietnamese golfer, who had a good day with an even par result. Korean golfer Brian Jung, who was in the top spot on the leaderboard after 54 holes, was unlucky when his leg was injured so he was unable to play to his full potential. 

Nguyen Anh Minh and Nguyen Nhat Long tied for T-4 with a total score of +7 after 72 holes.

In the Top 10 of the Men Division, up to 5 out of 10 golfers are young amateur, in this tournament they have successfully completed and affirmed their ability with their hard-working and efforts through each day of competition

Lina Kim defended the Champion title

In the Ladies Division, Lina Kim excellently defended her Champion. Ngo Bao Nghi with the result +4 on the final round also successfully defended her 1st runner-up position.
