MICHELIN-STAR CHEFS AND CELEBRITY CHEF PORTFOLIO

BRUNO MÉNARD (SINGAPORE) – THREE MICHELIN-STAR

Chef Bruno Ménard was destined to be a chef before he was even born. The son of famous French chocolatier, he grew up surrounded by those with a passion for cuisine and a deep-rooted appreciation for the sensual side of cooking. Since entering the business at a young age, he has spent more than 35 years in some of the world’s top kitchens, starred as a judge on MasterChef Asia and created the Bocuse d’Or Academy Singapore. Bruno was awarded by the French government the title of “Chevalier de L’Ordre du mérite Agricole”, among many other official awards.  At age 27, he became the youngest French chef to obtain 17 of 20 points and three red chef’s toques in the Gault & Millau guide for the Le Golden Restaurant in Niort. At age 40 he earned 5 stars in the Mobil Travel guide and 5 diamonds in the AAA (American Automobile Association) guide for The Dining Room Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta. In 2008, he opened the restaurant “L’Osier” in Tokyo (Japan) where he receives 3 stars by the Michelin Guide as one of the nine restaurants in Tokyo awarded with the highest recognition of 3 stars straightaway for the first edition of Michelin Guide Tokyo.

MICHEL PORTOS (MARSEILLE, FRANCE) - TWO MICHELIN-STAR

Chef Michel Portos was born in Marseille, France. Though not destined to become a chef, he decided to follow his passion, heart and palate. Chef Michel opened his own restaurant “Côté Théâtre” in Perpignan which was awarded its first Michelin Star in 2002. Eight years later, in 2009, it received its second Michelin star for his bold, creative and irresistible dishes. He was nominated “Chef of the Year 2012” at Saint-James (Bordeaux, France).  In 2011, Chef Michel was one of the semi-final judges in the famous TV show MasterChef France.

Influenced by both Asian and Mediterranean dishes, Chef Michel’s cuisine “shakes up the palate” and with its depth, surprises, astounds, and seduces. Michel interprets acidic flavors with masterful dexterity, adding “crunchy” elements to balance them. Michel Portos cuisine is known for its textures, contrasts and new flavors combinations. With its sincerity, its intensity but also its impertinence, he challenges everything you ever took for granted.

JEAN-FRANCOIS BÉRARD (LA CADIÉRE D’AZUR, FRANCE) - ONE MICHELIN-STAR

Chef Jean-François Bérard is a charming, dynamic chef committed to upholding the traditions of his beloved Provence. Jean-François Bérard loves cooking – the passion handed down to him by the grandmother of the family, then his father. From his grandmothers to his father, all nurtured his taste for great cuisine, Southern France products and expressing emotions with food. His vocation was born when he was just a little boy. He then followed the teachings of his father René Bérard - one of the finest ambassadors of Provencal cuisine - and went on to develop his own signature style.

René and Jean-François Bérard remain inseparable and Jean-François is proud to perpetuate his father's unique legacy with their family-owned hotel, spa and 1-Michelin starred restaurant. He cherishes his kitchen garden, overflown with fabulous aromatic plants, heritage vegetables and tomato varieties from all over the world.

JÉRÔME LAURENT (SHANGHAI, CHINA) – ONE MICHELIN-STAR

Chef Jérôme Laurent was born in Arles, Southern France to a family of six-generation hoteliers and restaurateurs. He was awarded with the distinguished one Michelin star for his restaurant “Le Cilantro” in 2007. In 2013, he moved to Asia and was elected the best French restaurant in Jakarta in 2013. He built up a highly distinguished career, starting from working with some of the greatest chefs in the world in their Michelin starred restaurants. His cuisine represents Mediterranean style with many roots of his ancestry. Chef Laurent’s appetite and love for his art indulges every palate with a discovery of various delights.

RÉGIS TRIGUEL (MOSCOW, RUSSIA) – CELEBRITY CHEF

Chef Régis Triguel started his career with working with Alain Bureau at Maxim's and Lancaster restaurants in Paris. He counts his first significant experience as working under Éric Brifara at Plaza Athénée hotel restaurant, Le Regence (2 Michelin-star).

Picking the best ingredients each region of France has to offer, he serves them under traditionally named plate with a modern sensitivity. He walks daily on the thin line between tradition and novelty, between childhood gustative memories and new discoveries, between classic French cuisine and interconnected world of tastes.
