Her fiance is the youngest son of Chung Tae-Young, vice president of Hyundai Card, a financial subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Corporation. The couple's marriage plan was shared with the media by Lydia Ko in July 2022.
The couple's wedding was just held at Myeongdong Church, Seoul on December 30. The 25-year-old bride shared photos of the guests taken during the ceremony on her Instagram account.

In the shared images, the beautiful New Zealand golfer in a long white lace wedding dress with a bright smile. The couple dated for more than 2 years before getting married. Talking about her fiance - Chung Jun - Ko shared that she has really found the right person. "Whether I win or lose, he's always there to make me smile," Ko said sweetly.
Ko also revealed that she was the first to propose and used the golf theme to start. “I wrote on golf balls ‘Will you marry me?’. And then he also proposed to me again during the engagement photo session. I was really surprised and didn't think about it. He talked about the number of days we knew each other and the milestones when we fell in love. That's so great".

The wedding officially ended a brilliant year full of sweet fruits of Lydia Ko.
