SOME GOLFERS DO NOT HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SWING, BUT PLAY GOOD SHOTS. IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SWING?

The most important thing about playing golf is having a swing that you can repeat consistently. Golfers should work on a swinging motion they are comfortable with to achieve the required result on each swing. Amateur golfers who try to create the perfect swing will generally be good technical players, while golfers focused on repeating their swing tend to play with more feel and find better results.

WHAT ARE THE CRITICAL INGREDIENTS THAT MAKE A GOOD SWING?

For me, the most important parts of the golf swing are grip, posture and stance. A player who grips the club correctly has more chance of hitting the ball consistently. Posture and stance are key aspects to good golf as they make it possible for the golfer to have a strong base from which to swing the club. If any of these three components are not solid, a golfer will need to work very hard to overcome these swing faults. Often a poor setup will mean other mistakes will arise. This can lead to more inconsistent swings.

HOW MANY KINDS OF SWINGS ARE THERE AND DO DIFFERENT GOLFERS HAVE DIFFERENT SWINGS?

No two swings in golf are the same. Every golfer in the world has his/her own characteristics that make their swing
unique. Golf is all about what works for the player and each player will swing the club in a style that works for them. It’s also important to remember we are all different in body shape, size, strength and ability. No golfer can swing the club the same as another. Looking at the best golfers in the world on the Professional Tours, we see many different swing types. I am sure everyone has seen those swings that look unusual, but the fundamentals of the swings are all strong. By having lessons, a golfer can improve his/her technique and become a better player. But remember, changes require many hours of practice to master.
