Through the tournament, the Vietnam Golf Association and VGA Tour continue to affirm their commitment to develop the Vietnamese golf foundation in particular and the domestic professional sports in general. DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 also marks the first time that DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company has accompanied a top sports tournament in Vietnam.

Following the efforts to develop Vietnamese golf in a systematic manner, DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 is the first and only tournament of the 2022 season for international golfers to attend and compete. Notably, since the DNSE Vietnam Open 2022, the VGA Tour decided to contribute the remaining from the prize money for amateur golfers with high positions on the Tournament's Leaderboard to the Vietnam Young Talent Development and Training Program. Besides, in order to ensure the attractiveness of professional golf tournaments in Vietnam, VGA Tour maintains a bonus of 1 billion VND for the Male Group, equal to many regional tournaments under the Asian Development Tour System.

DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 will be played in stroke play, the golfers will go through 7 rounds on the Sky Course of Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club, one of the most difficult courses in Northern Vietnam.
