The Van Tri Golf Club is conveniently located 30 minutes from Hanoi city center and was North Vietnam’s first exclusively private golf estate. The Peter Rousseau design presents traditional values and robust approach that is forever exciting and challenging to play; one that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Playing to over 7,200 yards from the tips to 6,700 yards from the blue member's tees Van Tri provides golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf. The course layout on relatively flat terrain presents a challenging variety of well-maintained, predominantly pine-lined holes. Small moguls dot the fairways and highlight the sharp-edged greenside bunker complexes. A mix of holes provide for multiple lines of attack, forced carries, good risk reward for long hitters, and at the same time generous fairways and lay-up areas. The golf course shaping and conditioning are without a doubt the best in North Vietnam. Full Paspalum playing surfaces ensure proper fairway lies and top putting conditions.
