AGIF accompanies “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024” 01:23, 17/01/2024

The eagerly awaited 10th Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards (VGLA) will officially tee-off in March. This year's event will be extra special with the participation of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF), affirming the quality and reputation of the awards domestically and regionally.

Bullish Outlook for Golf’s Growth in Vietnam

Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards is organized every two years by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Co., in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, General Department of Physical Education and Sports as well at the Vietnam Golf Association

Formerly known as the "Voting for Best Golf Courses in Vietnam" organized every two years by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Co., in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, General Department of Physical Education and Sports as well at the Vietnam Golf Association, after nine successful iterations the event was upgraded to "Vietnam Golf and Leisure Awards (VGLA)" in 2022. This refreshed format has greater diversity in voting criterias and categories. The voting section is for candidates in the two fields of golf courses and golf services. The 11th awards this year will be extremely attractive with many new golf courses participating and new voting categories that golfers love.

"The awards will not only promote the beauty of golf in Vietnam to the world, but also encourage golf courses and brands to make more efforts to create the best golf products and services for domestic and foreign golfers,” said Mr. Pham Tien Van, President of Vietnam Golf & Leisure Co., Head of the Organizing Committee.

Especially, “Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024” will be elevated even further when it becomes an important part of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Conference taking place from September 17-19, 2024 in Hanoi, which was honored by the World Golf Awards as "The World's Best Golf City Destination in 2023".

Accordingly, the press conference announcing and awarding VGLA 2024 will be held on September 19 with more than 100 AGIF representatives, which will widely promote Vietnam’s golf courses and outline development of the golf industry in Vietnam and around the world.
