Troon International and The WOW Stats
Troon Rewards

Golf’s largest loyalty program with around 900,000 members globally. In 2023, $52 million USD was spent across over 200 participating facilities. Golfers can sign up to Troon Rewards for free, and earn 1 point for every 1 USD equivalent in spend on their golf fees and merchandise. Participating facilities include; Victoria Golf Resort (Sri Lanka), Els Club Desaru Coast (Malaysia), LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort (Saipan), Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club (Australia), Kapalua and Princeville Makai Golf Club (both in Hawaii).
“Troon Rewards members have a 2.5x higher 5-year customer lifetime value than non-Troon Rewards members. Troon Rewards facilities typically outperform non-Troon Rewards facilities by 14% in revenue growth. Troon Rewards provide that data capture mechanism to our facilities allowing us to continue to communicate to them after their Troon Golf Experience. For the golfer, getting rewarded for you spend is very valuable and creates loyalty to the facility and to Troon. Our redemption tiers allow the golfers to earn a free round of golf upon achieving a certain amount of points. Clinton Norris - Director, Sales & Marketing, Troon International said.
Troon Drives H.O.P.E.

Celebrates the way Troon facilities and associates around the world are involved in charities, environmental initiatives and fundraising events. The four elements of H.O.P.E. (Humanitarian, Opportunities, Partnerships, Environmental) serve to bring these actions to light and share the collective impact Troon facilities and associates have on our communities. In 2023, over $35 Million USD was raised for charity. This includes over $280,000 USD in financial assistance to associates in need through Troon Cares. Established 3 years ago, Troon Cares has provided short term financial assistance to associates during challenging times caused by the COVID pandemic.
“Troon Drive’s H.O.P.E. is vitally important. We are very conscious of our role in the industry but also in the communities in which we serve. ‘Opportunities’ means both growing the game in terms of participation but also creating jobs for the local communities. A healthy business is one that is financially sustainable which allows the golf facility to thrive and give career to local people.”
Grow the Game Efforts and Player Development

Troon is the largest employer of PGA Professionals in the world, with over 23,000 coaches, and as you would expect, growing the game is at the top of the minds of the company and their facilities. Facilities are encouraged to adopt a Play Troon Calendar, monthly initiatives and programming. These include Troon Family Golf month in July, amplifying the efforts made around family golf, including the Troon Family Golf program whereby children can play for free and have golf instruction for free, with a paying adult.
“95% of our Resort/Daily Fee facilities adopt Troon Family Golf program. Operating at 900+ locations and in over 30 countries globally, it is our responsibility to ensure we do our part in increasing golf participation to ensure a healthier sport, and business, for the future”.
