SEA Games 31: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore enter the semi-finals of the Men/Women's team contest

The three national golf teams from Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore all participated in the semi-finals of the 31st SEA Games team competition.

In the quarter-finals, with outstanding level, the Thai men's golf team easily overcame Cambodia to win a position in the semi-finals, facing Singapore, the team that defeated the Vietnamese men's team.

In the semi-finals, the golfer with the highest ranking at SEA Games 31 (No 6 in WAGR) Ratchanon Chantananuwat will return to the Thai men's golf team. Ratchanon Chantananuwat will compete with Ryan Ang John, the golfer who won against Nguyen Dang Minh of Vietnam in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Weerawish Narkprachar will face Brandon Han, and Pongsapak Laopakdee will meet Hiroshi Tai Hirahara.

The Thai women's golf team will compete with Philippines, the owner of the gold medal in the 30th SEA Games women's team contest. The 31st SEA Games women's individual gold medal, Natthakritta Vongtaveelap will face Rianne Mikhaela Malixi Aala, while herteammate Eila Galitsky will meet Lois Kaye Go Lo.

In the remaining two matches, the Malaysian men's golf team and the individual champion of the SEA Games 31, Ervin Chang will compete with Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Malaysian women's golf team will face Singapore.
