The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued a decision approving the task of planning the construction subdivision at the scale of 1/2000 for the Cam Lo complex urban area, resort and golf course at Cam Lo town and Cam Thanh commune, Cam Lo district. Accordingly, the planning area covers an area of more than 498 ha.

The main feature of the planning area is determined to be a complex combining urban and resort, golf course, invested and built synchronously and completely, ensuring modern technical-economic criteria, and harmoniously connect existing residential areas, renovate and embellish, have synchronous infrastructure and services in the direction of sustainable development and environmental protection.

This is also an eco-tourism area, integrated with a variety of activities that are rich, intertwined, and mutually supportive, including resorts, cultural tourism, entertainment and high-class sports associated with natural topographical conditions of the region.

The planning objective is to concretize the construction planning of Cam Lo district and the general construction planning of Cam Lo town has been approved. In addition, the planning also aims to exploit the maximum potential and advantages of the area, creating a driving force for the development of Cam Lo district in particular and Quang Tri province in general. At the same time, create a legal basis to manage and propose construction investment projects according to the planning.
