Farewell to The Bluff Ho Tram with many memorable memories, we continued our journey to Phan Thiet to conquer the new golf course that is a hot topic in the recent golf community - PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet.

As the only golf course cluster in Vietnam that meets the standards in the golf system of the American Professional Golf Association (PGA) and has the exclusive copyright from the PGA to organize tournaments in this system, PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet consists of 2 18-hole golf courses, Ocean Course and Garden Course, with beautiful sea views and diverse challenges designed by Greg Norman.

In particular, the PGA Ocean Course and clubhouse built on an area of 88.4 hectares in the links-style - a coastal golf course, is one of the longest courses in Vietnam with a length of 7,400 yards and par 72. When you hit the tee shot safely, you will feel the overwhelming length of this golf course.

We had a truly memorable experience while swinging in the beautiful alpine setting and sweeping views of the majestic Phan Thiet Bay, combined with the undulating terrain of naturally winding fairways.

The overall design of the PGA Ocean golf course also impressed the delegation when there were 9 closed paths mixed between "links" and "parkland", and 9 roads back with a panoramic view of the sea. 

A design highlight of the PGA Ocean golf course is the “mini fairway” tees, which can be extended up to 100m. Combined with the changing wind conditions typical of Phan Thiet beach, the PGA Ocean course can be created with more challenges with variable difficulty, making golfers more excited. 

PGA Ocean is designed for tournaments, therefore, the complex fairways with very wide undulations give players many tactical options to play from the corners at the tee. In addition, the uniqueness of the PGA Ocean golf course lies in the ruggedly styled bunkers with naturally drooping grass edges all around, transitioning into the native grass areas, creating a wonderful balance between nature and green turfgrass. Perhaps this is the only golf course in Vietnam that owns a red sand bunker, like the typical basalt color in this place. It is great to both play golf and watch and enjoy the dragon fruit and grapefruit gardens planted along the fairway.   

One area on the PGA Ocean field that we couldn't miss is the "Ocean Loop" which stretches through holes 13 to 15. After playing at hole 12 with the infinity green opening to the ocean view, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the majestic beauty of nature when conquering the holes of "Ocean Loop".

Finally, to ensure sustainable development, contribute to environmental protection, and save yard maintenance costs, we also choose to use Zoysia grass and Primo Zoysia Grass for planting. This has helped the quality of the grass here to be among the best golf courses in the country.

With impressive design and the best quality of service and maintenance PGA NovaWorld - Ocean Course is becoming one of the new attractive golf courses for golfers of all levels.
