Playoff Decides Overall Champion in Nail-Biting Finale
After three rounds of intense FootGolf, the Overall category ended in a dramatic tie between Muhammad Zul Hilmi from Malaysia and Zhang Xiaolong from China, forcing a sudden-death playoff that kept fans and fellow athletes holding their breath.
With nerves of steel and precision under pressure, Zul Hilmi edged out the competition on the final playoff hole to become the first-ever Overall Champion of the Vietnam FootGolf Open.
Another highlight was the team Matchplay event, which was a hard fought contest resulting in Malaysia A team and B team making the final, at the expense of Royal Group Vietnam, Nam A Bank Vietnam, China, Australia, Taiwan and a rest of the World Team.
