Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022 - Give wings to dreams 10:00, 05/09/2022

As an indispensable companion of golfers, caddies are the largest team in the golf industry with thousands of people serving at golf courses across the country. In addition to being a good professional, many caddies are well qualified to play golf and have the potential to grow in the profession, becoming professional players or coaches.

Derived from the humanistic idea of creating a special playground for caddies to love and stick with the profession, as well as the desire to promote the domestic golf movement, discover talents to develop professional golf in Vietnam, especially looking for talents to compete internationally, Vietnam Golf & Leisure Magazine initiated the Vietnam Caddies Championship and gained a strong response from the golf community.

This year, after a 2-year hiatus due to the Covid 19, the tournament will be held in the North and South on Tan Son Nhat and Trang An golf courses and is expected to continue to attract the attention of caddies and golf course staff.

Ms. Vu Van Yen - Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament shared: "Our aim in this year’s tournament is to be able to bring a prestigious, quality and spiritually meaningful playground to Caddies. Because more than anyone else, caddies and golf course staff are the ones who need to be honored and given the maximum opportunity to develop more in the profession.”

According to Mr. Pham Tien Van - Senior Advisor of Vietnam Golf & Leisure: "As the message of the tournament conveyed, the organizers hope that this year's tournament will be a launching pad to help caddies give their best with passion and extend their dreams on the way to professional golf."

With the aim of finding talent and training golf coaches who are passionate about the golf profession, we will cooperate with 72+ Golf Academy to sponsor intensive golf training programs. Details will be posted on our fanpage (Vietnam GOLF Magazine) and Facebook group Vietnam Caddies Championship. Moreover, there will be a representative of 72+ Golf Academy giving scholarships to caddies who are interested in vocational training opportunities at the tournament's dinner party on Tan Son Nhat Golf Course on September 12 and Trang An Golf & Resort on September 19.

More than a tournament, “Vietnam Caddies Championship 2022” will continue to be a great “festival” for the caddie community and people working on golf courses across the country to exchange, share, develop passion and their love of golf. Caddie uniforms and interesting minigames will also be the highlight of this year's tournament along with trophies and many valuable prizes.

Trang An Golf & Resort, Ninh Binh

Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, HCMC

Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is designed by Nelson & Haworth Golf Course Architects, and is the only golf course located in the inner city of Ho Chi Minh City. It includes 4 courses: A (3,729 yards) - B (3,620 yards) - C (3,747 yards) - D (3,619 yards) with 9 holes (par-36) each, with a total length of 14.715 yards. With the advantage of beautiful natural terrain with undulating and wavy curves, each course is designed according to different difficulty standards. 

In order to bring the best golf experience to customers, this golf course also uses high-quality turfgrass, Paspalum Platinum and Tifeagle. Alternating the green space of the grass are well-arranged lakes. Therefore, the scene becomes more poetic and peaceful.
