MercedesTrophy World Final 2017  

Mercedes-Benz was proud to host the renowned  MercedesTrophy World Final, a customer tournament series in Stuttgart, Germany from 3 to 8 October. This year, over 60,000 golfers from 60 nations competed for the coveted Nations Cup trophy. The winners were decided in three rounds at two golf courses in the region and the international guests also had an opportunity to experience the history, present and future of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

After three rounds, Team South Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore) emerged victorious at this year's tournament, with Team Latin America (Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador) finishing as runners-up and Team North Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam) taking bronze. The Team Spirit Award went to the formation from Mexico, as a mark of recognition by all the participating teams for a particularly fair and friendly manner.

In all, 134 birdies were played on the demanding course designed by brand ambassador Bernhard Langer at Schloss Nippenburg Golf Club and at the Solitude Golf Club in Stuttgart. Two-times major winner Bernhard Langer challenged the players to personal duels - both at individual level in a nearest-to-the-pin contest and at group level in a competition based on gross rankings.
