Tony Finau claimed the third PGA Tour victory as winning 3M Open 2022

With a total score of -17 strokes, the American golfer won the 3M Open 2022 championship to add another PGA Tour title to his collection.

3M Open 2022 took place from 21 to 24 July at TPC Twin Cities, Blaine (USA). During 4 rounds, Tony Finau always maintained a stable performance when fired 67 strokes on the first day, 68 strokes on the second day, and the third day was the best round with 65 strokes.

In the final round, Tony Finau continued to score 67. Despite having a bogey on the 18th hole, the -17-stroke record still helped the American golfer defeat all other opponents to claim the victory.

The 2022 3M Open championship is Tony Finau's third PGA Tour title. Before that, he was crowned at the 2016 Puerto Rico Open and The Northern Trust 2021. Tony Finau gained 500 points on the FedEx Cup rankings, and received a money prize of $1.35 million.

Two golfers Sungjae Im (Korea) and Emiliano Grillo (Argentina) tied for second place with a total score of -14 strokes. Three American golfers Scott Piercy, Tom Hoge, James Hahn tied for 4th place.
