TGCA, TAT, Chang and Thai Golf Entrepreneurs explore golf market in Vietnam  

 Thai Golf Course Association, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chang, champions and lucky draw winners from Chang Club Championship 2016, Thai golf entrepreneurs and media (more than 90 people in total) are going to Danang, Vietnam for a world class golf experience at 5-stars golf courses, and to open the channel to connect Thai and Vietnam golf market on the 13th-16th November 2016.

Mr. Pornsit Sriorathaikul, President of Thai Golf Course Association, as the organizing chairman of Chang Club Championship said that, “This year is the 3rd Chang Club Championship. We always get good responses from our members, 34 golf courses joined us this year. We have significant supports from Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Chang who are always the strong back up to support the development of Thai golf market.

This trip, we include the 4 champions and 2 lucky draw winners from Chang Club Championship 2016, who will enjoy great experience at Bana Hills Golf Club, the top hilly Vietnam golf course and the 5-stars, seaside “Montgomerie Link” designed by “Monty”, Colin Montgomerie, an 8-times European Tour No.1.

Ms. Sriporn Bhekanandana, Assistant Executive Director, Asean, South Asia and South Pacific Region Department, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said that, “TAT invites Vietnam media and travel agencies to attend the Market Briefing conference on the topic of the direction of Thai golf market to Asian, which we believed that, it could lead to the growth of golf business in both countries following the policy of sports tourism”.

Lastly, Mr. Surapol Utintu, Director of External Affair, Thai Beverage Plc., said that, “Chang appreciated and honored the courtesy form Thai Golf Course Association and Tourism Authority of Thailand to allow us to be a part of driving and developing Thai golf market to grow in Asia. We will continue to support the development of the golf market across the board, not only professional level, but also, amateur competitions, junior competitions and academy such as Chang Junior Golf Project, which we try to push the potential of Thai youth talent up to international level.
