AGTC 2017: The largest event of golf tourism in Asia officially starts up  12:00, 08/05/2017

After 5 years of successful organization in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China, Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) has made great impressions and created direct benefits to the host countries, relatively via the increase of golf tourists and tourism-related income. This is also an opportunities for businesses to introduce their tourism products and the images of destinations to international visitors.

IAGTO estimates that income from golf tourism to Vietnam will increase by 40 USD from 2018, as a direct result from AGTC2017 in Danang.

The value of advertising and communications by IAGTO for AGTC2017 is up to 115,000USD. Besides, IAGTO is committed to assist Danang in developing and exploiting Danang Golf Tourism Development Strategy from 2017-2020

Also at the Gala Dinner, IAGTO President, Mr. Peter Walton, announced the next destination for AGTC 2018 to be Philippines.

After this important event, Vietnam, the potential land of Golf Tourism in Asia, with outstanding advantages in natural conditions, people, and especially beautiful and challenging golf courses , will definitely become the ideal destination for golfers from all over the world to come and experience!
