Celine Nha Nguyen, the first Vietnamese woman reaches summit of Mount Everest

Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha (Céline Nha Nguyen), a member of Openasia Group, successfully conquered Mount Everest at dawn on May 16, 2022 (3:30 am Nepal time or 4:45 am Hanoi time) and became the first Vietnamese woman to achieve this spectacular mountaineering feat, contributing to honoring the gold list of achievements of the Vietnamese climbing community.

Céline Nha Nguyen is currently the Legal Sales Director of a company under the Openasia Group, currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Belonging to the Millennials generation, Céline is an avid mountaineer and a member of Seven Summit Treks, a company specializing in organizing mountaineering in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Céline Nha Nguyen's passion for conquering heights, discovering her own strength and surpassing herself has inspired colleagues at Openasia Corporation and motivated them to decide with Céline to make the first Everest climb – from the foot of the mountain to the base camp at an altitude of 5,364m.

On April 17, 2022, Céline Nha Nguyen and the 11-member amateur climbing team of Openasia Group started the first leg of this challenging journey to conquer Everest.

On April 24, 2022, they reached an altitude of 5,545m, from here Céline Nha Nguyen bid farewell to her colleagues to continue to pass 4 other stations before reaching the summit on May 16, 2022.

Before that, Celine had successfully climbed the two highest peaks in Europe and Oceania. On January 3 of this year, she also achieved the achievement of conquering the sixth highest mountain, Vinson Massif, considered the highest peak of the white continent of Antarctica, where the weather conditions are extremely harsh.

With the completion of the journey to the "roof of the world" Everest, 8,849m high, located between the border of Nepal and Tibet (China), she has "realized" her big dream of life - setting foot on The seven highest peaks belonging to different continents in the world.
