[INSPECT THE CENTRAL GOLF] - Day 1: Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An - Green space in the middle of the local heritage
Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An, a 5-star golf course belonging to the most attractive golf tourism complex in Quang Nam, is the first destination in the journey of inspection golf courses in the Central region of Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards’ jury team.
It takes about 1 hour by car from Da Nang Airport, Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An appears in front of our eyes with the fresh green space not only of plants and flowers but also from the fairways and greens of the course.
The 18 holes of Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An have been officially opened since 2018 with a total area of 73 hectares. In the link-style golf course with terrain built between winding sand dunes with a height difference of 4 to 11 meters, the vegetation here is very diverse: from Casuarina trees near the sea, seasonal deciduous trees planted close to the mainland, combined with Pandanus palm trees and other sand trees... all bring the most pristine natural setting to the course.
“Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An impresses me with its characteristic natural terrain of fine white sand dunes, wide fairways and surprisingly challenging golf courses,” said a member of the jury. In addition, Vietnam's largest bunker at the 1st holealso gave the team a challenging and exciting start.
Along with the beautiful landscape, Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An also leaves an impression with its smooth, green grass turf. The course managers have carefully invested in maintenance. From choosing the best grass that is resistant to pests and diseases to limiting pesticide use to avoiding the use of toxic fertilizers. The grass in the bunker, tee, fairway and rough areas is meticulously cared for by the staff. Besides, optimizing watering systems and good waste management also play an important role in golf course maintenance.
