Double wins for Hoiana integrated resort at World Travel Awards and World Golf Awards 2020 11:25, 10/11/2020

One of the most prestigious travel and tourism events of the year, the World Travel Awards was launched in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in the travel and tourism industry. This year is the first time that the $4B Hoiana project proudly won a WTA award, besting fierce competition from other nominations in Hong Kong or Thailand.

The first component of Hoiana to welcome the public, the award-winning Hoiana Shores Golf Club is proudly designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr., and provides the best experience for all golfers. Officially launched in March 2020 after 6 months of preview play in support of local charities, it took no time for Hoiana Shores Golf Club to receive the World's Best New Golf Course 2020 award at World Golf Awards in October 2020, the most prestigious awards programme in the golf tourism industry.

Previously, Hoiana Shores Golf Club was named “Best New Golf Course” for 2019 at the Asian Golf Awards held during the Asia Pacific Golf Summit. It was also awarded “Best Golf Course in Vietnam” by Golf Digest, a major golf magazine based in the United States, while the Cloud Golf Association in China also nominated Hoiana Shores Golf Club among the top 100 golf courses in the Asia-Pacific region.
