Sucessfully kicking off "2016 VGM Junior Trophy" 09:31, 15/09/2016

At the opening of the Conference, Honorary Chairman of Vietnam Golf Association, Chief Organizer of the Tournament, and Chief Editor of VGM Doan Manh Giao shared that “VGM Junior Trophy is the brainchild being pregnant for such a long time by VGM, besides many other tournaments successfully held since 2014. We hope that the Event will be a boost to discover golf talents in Vietnam”.

This is actually an event for young golf which will bring junior golfers unforgettable experiences and build up the love for golf since they are small. Up to present, the Tournament has attracted the interest of many well-known organizations and sponsors, especially Vietnam Airlines, Titleist, Puma, US Kids, and Golf Academies in the country like EPGA, Jack Nicklaus Academy, DavidLeadbetter. Accordingly, champions will be awarded with golf scholarships, as well as many other interesting presents suitable for their age.

At the conference, the Tournament Ogarnization Board also announced the offical Condition of Competition. Accordingly, The Championship is open to BOYS and GIRLS Under 18 years old (Born after 1/1/1998) and divided into 6 catagories (U10 for Boys & Girls, U12, U15, U18 for Boys and U14, U18 for Girls). The format of play is stableford format.
