Hole of the month: The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip Hole #4th

The 4th hole at the Bluffs is one of the most intimidating short holes in the country. Whilst not the longest par 3 measuring at only 172yds (Gold), 147 (Blue), 129 (White) and 98 (Red), its visual topography and the prevailing winds ranging from 0-40kmh are what gets your pulse racing when you stand on the tee ready to pull the trigger. The fear of losing it in the ravine on the left often makes you miss the shot to the right where a large bunker and sandy wasteland awaits. The intimidation does not stop there as you are now faced with a treacherous approach heading back towards the very deep ravine. If you play this hole even slightly off your game, it will gobble you up and a 5 sometimes is a good score.
