Vietnamese golfers proved their abilities at the Asian playground
After the Country Final in June 2016, 7 best golfers represented Vietnam in the MercedesTrophy Asian Final 2016 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in August 2016. Vietnamese players did have significant advance and won high prizes at this competition.
Following impressive achievements of previous tournaments, 7 Vietnamese representatives at the MercedesTrophy Asian Final 2016 gained admirable achievements:

Golfer Nguyen Gia Bao was excellently among the three players to win Drive to the Major, which is an opportunity to spectate one of the most world prestigious tournaments, the British Open 2017, in July 2017.
Player Nguyen Huu Hoan Vu also proved the ability of Vietnamese representatives when taking the first place of Group C (Guest Group).
Remarkably, Golfer Hoang Quan preserved his manner with the best total result at the Asian Final, representing Vietnam at MercedesTrophy World Final 2016 taking place from 3rd – 8th October 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany – homeland of the “Three-pointed-star” brand.
When the MercedesTrophy 2015 is coming to an end is also the time for the 15th tournament in Vietnam to officially start. With the participation of 280 golfers and sponsorship from Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, Swing for Life took place at Thu Duc Golf Course on 31st August, 2016. Participating in this event, Mr. Choi Duk Jun, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars in Vietnam, shared: “I highly appreciate the ability of Vietnamese golfers and hope that they will gain more success in the new tournament, from the country to the Asian playground”.
