Golfer Chu Nguyen Binh represents for Team Asia at the MercedesTrophy World Final
Mercedes-Benz hosted over 60 of the region’s best amateur golfers at the Sanctuary Cove Golf & Country Club in Queensland, Australia for theMercedesTrophy Asian Final 2017.
Held over 8 to 12 August, the competition saw players from Vietnam and eight other countries including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand, vie for the chance to participate in the MercedesTrophy World Final in Stuttgart, Germany this October.
Mr. Chu Nguyen Binh, top player from Team Vietnam, will be part of the contingent representing Asia at the World Final, where in addition to the tournament itself, all golfers will be treated to a five-day exclusive programme which meets the brand’s highest standards. This includes an inside look into the world of Mercedes-Benz, which is perfect given Stuttgart’s moniker, the ‘birthplace of the automobile.
"We may hail from different countries in the region, but it is our shared love for the game that blind us," said Mr. Chu Nguyen Binh, the top player ò Team Vietnam. "What a privilege it is for me to be part ò Team Asia. I hope to do this region proud at the up coming MercedesTrophy World Final."
