Natural Hilly Terrain

Excellent Golf Club Ise Ootori Course became famous when it was chosen as the venue for the match between Tiger Woods and Hideki Matsuyama. The 18-hole golf course opened in 1998, has 4 tees and is designed on natural hilly terrain with different slopes, providing many challenges for players. Golfers start their round on the #1 par 4 hole with a tee shot uphill towards the green. It's a good idea to carry a spare, especially on the second hit on the green, as it's possible that your first "hard" uphill approach won't go as planned.

Impressive Lakes

When you arrive at the Excellent Golf Club Ise Ootori Course, you will be overwhelmed by a large lake of 87,000 square meters located in front of the clubhouse. The water trap that is considered the signature challenge of Ise Ootori is a large lake at hole #9. It's very difficult to hit the ball long on this hole because the back tee is 444 yards long and this is a par-4 hole.
